Aeris’s Newly Launched “IoT Real Talk” Podcast Brings Unfiltered Conversations on What’s Next for Global IoT

Aeris, a global leader in cellular IoT platform services and cybersecurity applications and solutions, today announced the launch of its first podcast, IoT Real Talk. Hosted by Aeris Chief Marketing Officer Susanna Song and Chief Product Officer Jon Connet, guests will include industry insiders and practitioners who are at the center of scalable and secure IoT deployments around the world. Discussions will focus on global IoT use cases and outcomes, plus the risks, the lessons, and the decisions behind the scenes that do not always get told.

Song is a former reporter and anchor at CBS and ABC. She understands how to ask insightful questions to dig deeper into the latest technology topics. She is the former host of “Cybersecurity Simplified,” a podcast aimed at demystifying cybersecurity and making it understandable to businesspeople and partners who aren’t security experts. She also previously hosted “The Working CEO” podcast, which provided straight talk about the best ways C-suite executives can maximize their time and efforts.

Connet has more than 15 years of experience in leadership roles at Aeris, Forescout Technologies and Symantec, overseeing strategy, marketing and corporate development. He will share his understanding of the technical complexities of IoT, eSIM orchestration and data sovereignty as well as the broader implications and trends that relate to IoT deployment successes.
